What Information is Collected by The Garmon Foundation?
You will provide us with information about yourself when you voluntarily submit it to us by registering for fundraising, donations, and newsletters, or to buy products. You will always be aware when we are attempting to collect such information. Personal information we collect may include name, address, company/organization, email address, telephone numbers, and/or credit/debit card information. If you contact us via email or through an email link on one of our websites, you may provide us with your email address and name.
Personal data is required in these contexts so that we may respond to your inquiries and requests, and/or process your contribution. We use the information provided in your e-mail to respond to your questions or comments, and may also store your comments for future reference.

Where Do We Transfer and Store Information?
The Garmon Foundation is based in the United States. Any information transmitted to us may be stored, accessed, or processed in the United States. Residents of other countries, including residents of the European Union, should be aware that the laws of the United States do not offer the same protections as the laws of your home countries.
How dDo We Use Information?
We collect information primarily to accept donations, and to provide you with information regarding our charitable projects, programs, news, and events related to our missions via emails and eNewsletters. To receive these updates you must provide The Garmon Foundation with contact details including your name, street address and/or email address. This information will be held in complete confidence, and The Garmon Foundation will NOT sell, rent, trade or otherwise reveal this information to a third party. You are given the option to remove your name from our email list within each email/eNewsletter update.
We also use information to better understand our supporter network, to respond to requests for information, to improve our website, communicate with our donor base, and for outreach activities. We may inform you of other purposes at the time that we collect some forms of information, such as collecting information in order to process your application for employment.
With Whom do We Share Information?
We do not sell, trade, rent, share, or transmit personal information that you provide to us to other organizations or third parties who intend to use it only to market their products or services to you.
There may be instances in which we share your information with others. For example, in conjunction with your sponsorship of a certain project, as required by law, with law enforcement, to comply with legal process, to protect our legal rights, to protect the safety or security of a person, or to protect against fraud, criminal acts, or misconduct. Our Commitment to Data Security
We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect, in order to help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information. For example, we use industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect the confidentiality of your personal information and the security of your transaction. Garmon Foundation’s donations are processed through Authorize.Net; no credit card information is stored on our servers. (For details, visit www.authorize.net.) All online transactions are confirmed by a follow-up email. Additionally, all sensitive information is stored in secure, cloud-based, AES encrypted web apps.
Your Access to Data, & Your Choices
If you wish to access the data that we received from you, or make corrections to it, you may contact us at the email or mailing addresses provided at the end of this policy.
If you registered to receive communications from us and later change your mind, you may ask that your name and contact information be removed from our distribution list. You can send such a request to the email or mailing addresses at the end of this policy.
We may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on The Garmon Foundation.
